This page is our running list of deals we have actually looked at, rather than
everything our feed picked up. We refresh it through the day as prices move, so the number you see beside a
product is the number that was true the last time a human checked it.
How these were chosen
Our deal feed surfaces hundreds of price changes a day. Most of them are not
worth your attention. Something has to clear all four of these bars before it lands on this page:
- The discount is measured against a price the item actually sold at recently — not an
inflated “list price” that nobody has paid in a year. - It is sold by the retailer, or by a seller with a real returns path. No mystery third-party listings.
- The item is something a normal household buys. We skip the drop-shipped filler that makes up most of
what a raw deal feed spits out. - We say plainly whether the price needs a coupon clipped. Roughly two-thirds of steep Amazon markdowns do,
and a “70% off” headline means nothing if you miss the checkbox.

A word about the “was” prices
Every crossed-out price on this page comes from the retailer. That is worth
saying out loud, because a retailer’s list price is the number they most want you to compare against — and
it is the number they control. A 70% discount from an inflated anchor is a worse deal than 25% off a price
people were genuinely paying last month.
Two kinds of discount appear on this page and they are not equal. A shelf-price cut — the retailer simply lowering the listed price — is the stronger signal: there is nothing to clip, nothing to forget at checkout, and the old price is usually one that shoppers were genuinely paying. A clipped coupon is real money too, but it is conditional: it can be withdrawn at any moment without the listing changing, and the crossed-out price beside it tends to be softer. Every item above is labelled so you can tell which is which. If you want to check any of it yourself, we wrote up the six checks we use to separate a real deal from a fake discount.
What we left off
Today’s feed was thick with 70%-off clothing and supplement listings. Almost all
of them stack a clipped coupon on top of a list price that was set specifically to be discounted. We left them
out. We also skipped anything where the only “deal” was a multi-buy tier — “5% off any 2, 40% off any 100,000”
is a pricing table, not an offer.
